One of the best things you can do for your health is to drink a “green” drink everyday. If you can’t juice or blend your own, I recommend having a green powder in your pantry at all times. My favorite is:

You can both eat coconut oil and lather it on your skin as a super-rich moisturizer. Coconut butter/oil is a staple in my family’s life. Community Supported Agriculture

Reading Mark David’s book was a huge turning point in my relationship with food. He gets the soul of food. I highly recommend this book to help you let go of guilt and fear in relation to food and to help you learn to listen to and love your body.
You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay
I love Louise Hay and recommend all of her books, CDs, and DVDs. She’s in her mid 80s and is a huge inspiration in my life. Her book Heal Your Body is my bible, I reference it practically everyday for myself or when I’m working with my clients. You must own this book if you’re serious about healing your body and life.
The Power of Intention by Dr. Wayne Dyer
I love Wayne Dyer and highly recommend learning and reading all of his knowledge and wisdom. This is a classic book to teach you about the power of intention.

This is a great whole foods and health resource for your library.
